Born in Indiana, Kelly has called Middle Tennessee home for the past sixteen years. He began his career as a graphic artist at a large sportswear screen-printing company in his home town. He remained in that industry for seventeen years before taking a full-time position illustrating children's books for a christian publisher. When he's not freelance illustrating or writing, he's most likely hanging out with his four children or riding his bicycle, enjoying the beautiful Middle TN countryside. His authorial debut was, Ten Unusual Features of Lulu McDunn (Frog Legs Ink, children's imprint of Gauthier Publications) which was released in August 2010. His second book, The Cycling Wangdoos, was released in August 2011. Look for more titles to be released later in 2012.
